    astra gte 16v vxr engine

    hi

    anyone done this ? if so any tips etc as im nearly ready to get the engine transplant underway! also im on grooved brakes but standatd size and wanted bigger discs but still want to use 4stud alloys. dont fancy any 5 stud wheels apart from astra vxr wheels but dont thnk they would fit!!

    well on a Z20leh into a mk2
    I would use a stand alone ECU to run the engine
    on bigger disc's what size wheel are you going to Run ?

    im on 16 inch speedline alesio at the moment which i dont want to change so maybe i cant change the disc size.

    what you reckon are the best break pads to use anyway?

    i used to own the courtenay original mk2 turbo 300bhp test car which is what im planning to rebuild with the car ive got. should be v fast as its lighter than all the new astras!!
    i presume i will need to fabricate the exhaust from turbo through to my centre box for this conversion?
