can anyone help with this poor workmanship

Can anyone tell me how to fix this cracking on my paint on one door. It looks to me like someone has tried to fix a scratch or something and not done a very good job.

    Thanks in advance

    sue

Similiar thing is happening to the spoiler on my car. Interested to hear why it happens.

Don't think there is anything you can do about it though, other than a respray. A good polish and wax will almost cover it on my car, but comes back after a couple of weeks.

    Pretty poor indeed!

Rather than a respray I'd be searching around scrapyards for semi good conidition ones, I managed to get Two white doors for my car, front and rear for less than £80! paint's in great condition

agree. but this can also happen due to reaction with the paints also they may have put it on 2 thick but not enough to run but crack when drying

yes it generally happens when the paint is applied too thickly and the top coats dry before the bottom layers and over time as the bottom layers of paint dry and shrink the paint cracks in a spider like crackle glaze
