    please please help now im leaking fuel!

    just tried changing fuel filter. got some new clips from vauxhall today, got old filter off, new one one, started up leaking fuel!!! some rubber sealing thingys fell on floor, and I can figure out where they go! I need my car for work in the morning and its driving me crazy! please help asap! where do the rubber sealing rings go???!?!?!?

    cant get a camera. theres a plastic white one and a rubber yellow one. have they come out of the fuel line rather than off the old filter maybe?

    do the pipes slip off at all or is it leaking fuel from the filter?

    its the pipe of the fuel line going into the filter. Its not the clips that slide over the filter, its the part on the end of the line that connects to the above clips. I hope that they can just replace this part and dont try and tel me they need a new line

    if its the bit im thinking of is there a way of putting a cable tie around it tightly?

    imo I don't think that would work. I think it need replacing.

    Can u not put alot of electrical tape around it very tightly, just temp, to get u to work and back u know.

    Juat an idea.
