    DIY refurbing polished lip

    Anyone on here ever refurbed a polished lip on alloys? yep you guessed it ........ i kissed a low curb a little yesterday and was F***** off!! want it done before trax.

    I will give it ago myself if it comes to it.

    Easy, wet and dry it out, repolish with cutting compound and a wheel. Job Done

    Are they definitley polished? not diamond cut as a lot of modern wheels are now diamond cut. which makes refurbing yourself near on impossible.

    If they are polished as LN suggested, although its a little more time consuming that the post above suggests
