    cooling fan

Just a quick one.....recently sitting waiting for my girlfriend and her mum to hurry one up...not gonna happen...i noticed that i have never had my fan kick in...even on the hot days the thermo goes up to a tad....just a tad under 90 but has never moved higher and the fan has never come on.....but after a while the engine starts sounding like its idling up nad down a little ... im sure i should have heard the fan kick in at some point...any ideas??

mine goes up to about 92 before the fan kicks in. i dont know why it waits so long but its fine upto 110 so meh.
you could check yours by taking it for a motorway blast then parking it with the engine running and pop the hood. you'll actualy be able to se the fan going.
other thing if your worried is put the heaters on full heat and fan and it will cool the enging.

    possible mods.
    twin fan(cool as chips)
fan switch inside cockpit(a big aircraft style one that will amek you look cool to your mates)

    hope that helps

no my fan does not come on at all.....the gauge in the car moves to 90 or just under when stand still but the fan doesnt come on and the temp needle does not move any higher....when i get moving again the needle drops a between 80-90 like normal?

does this not mean something needs replacing
