    Irmscher back box flange

    Hi does anyone know the correct dimesions of the flange on the rear irmscher box?

    As mine has rusted it self away so was thing of getting a replacement.


    Has anyone else had this problem and how did you rectify it?'

    just take the measurements from the flange on the centre section that mates to the Irmscher box and then pop the backbox down to your local exhaust fitter and they should make you one up. i had one done like this last year and it cost £15, made from 8mm steel and it was fine. Should not have to be done though on a backbox that costs over £300 new, bad design fault lol

    Great idea will do that. And yeah it is a really bad idea.

    How did they put a new flange on did they chop the exhaust or cut the flange in half and then re weld?

    cut the flange in half then weld it together on the pipe, mate. very easy job for an exhaust fitting place
