    Car Battery Retailer recommendations

As the title says, I'm after a Car Battery Retailer recommendations for the wife's Ford Focus.

I've seen a VARTA 60 540 with 4 year warranty for £69.97 on performance batteries co uk, with free next day delivery.

Anyone had any experience with these guys? Or any other recommendations?

    Thanks,
    Dave

If u had access to trade club at Vauxhall (paid club members get this etc) then you could get a whopping great big 70aH battery for £47+VAT (only £63+VAT retail)

Bosch equivalents are in excess of £100

Whats the numbers for the Varta? 60ah Im guessing? Vauxhalls price even on retail for a 60ah is £52+VAT so maybe the price delivered youve been quoted aint too bad.

How quick would the trade club details come through? I've been meaning to join and if I could get the trade clud details quickly enough it would be ideal .

    thanks,
    Dave

    Thanks Enigma ???

I've been meaning to join with full membership for a while now (I plan on fully fitting my Car PC next week and what to show it off in a gallery, aswell as a few mods). The trade club price are a good deal and I didn't think Vxl would be that competitive.

The car battery is the excuse I need to get 'her indoors' to approve it, lol!

    Thanks,
    Dave

Approved and paid up, despite already getting the battery. The forum has been a great source of information. Battery was a Vauxhall 55ah, recommended replacement - retailing at £54 inc. VAT.

    Cheers,
