I had bk999s on for about a year in total, and only fault was that I kerbed them slightly lol..... no problems with paint coming off etc.

Not sure what they mean but if you look at the LMF website they do the same alloy but advise that they are not the BK ones.

I don't think you will have problems either way

I don't think there are any issue with that wheel, but the wheels I have are starting to corrode on the bare aluminum and the black paint on the inside flaked off a chunk about 2" long. My wheels are about 6-8 months old and I am gutted, I struggle so hard not to curb them and the bloody metal corrodes.

I think the guy is referring to the old BK racing alloys such as the 299

They were really bad for flaking, not seen many problems with 999's falking though,

I have a set of BK 799's on my coupe...... My only complaint with them is they need a refurb after a few meetings with kerbs......

The roads around by me are pretty bad for pot holes etc but the wheels have withstood the testing conditions so far

If its got pistons or tits, its gonna be expensive!!

    That's the one

Lacquered stainless lips, then when the lacquer broke on the lip it let moisture in and it looked awful
