Difference in DV noise with rear BCS bypassed (Vids inside)

Well today I finally got round to bypassing the Rear BCS with some new silicone vacuum hose.

I fitted a Collins DV at Billing but was disappointed that it sounded no louder than the Baileys it replaced. I read that bypassing the rear BCS made a big difference so thought I'd go for it.

I followed the diagram that Wavey created (cheers dude, made it soo simple).
So here are the comparison videos...

I did a before video but tbh you cannot even hear the dump valve, just engine noise. So here is the before video...

    Rubbish isn't it!!

So here is the video with BCS setup bypassed, we did two lol

Its sooo much louder its unreal! And on the road it seems to dump much more frequently.

So all in all it was a big Win for today
I also sorted out a coolant leak and oil leak which was handy.

Just to add... I am running a VXR Turbo with both aftermarket and OE dump valves being used. Standard map.

Dont know why on the first video you cant hear it dump at all, very strange . . . when I got mine it dumped louder than the baileys with the rear bcs still functioning, as above m8, fit a one way valve to the oe valve and the collins will be even louder :-)

You could hear the Collins before, it just wasn't picked up in the video over the engine noise.

I'm more than happy with how loud it is at the moment, and I've read on here that the one way valve can cause a bit of chatter.

i only rev mine to 2700 - 300o rpm and it dumps loud everytime? is that about right?
