    Speedo - Mileage

Managed to get hold of a new set of clocks with silver dial rings, just wondered tho... Im guessin the mileage is stored in the ecu? The clocks ive got have done 55k, so after its all fitted will the mileage read 55k, or my old mileage? Also, (im probably wrong lol) I heard somewhere that with digital mileage redings, if you change the clocks then it will add your present mileage to the mileage already on the clocks? Cheers in advance

I believe the mileage is stored in the speedo and not the car's ECU, therefore when you fit the clocks they will show the mileage of the donor vehicle.

You'll need to get the mileage set with tech 2 or op-com.

^^ true indeed. Whatever mileage the clocks have covered, that'll be the figure displayed. If the new clocks have covered 200k miles, then it'll display 200k miles.

If i understand right, the new op-com software will let you correct the mileage, but the older software doesn't...? Tiz what one eBay seller informed me anyway.
