    Anyone help refurbing wheels?

    what do people think?

    To do yourself or pay for? They hardly look damaged to be honest, the ones I got from eBay last month were far far far worse, but I'm paying for mine to be refurbed fully.

    They seem awfully cheap to me though, and the tyres are rubbish...beyond that, worth checking the PCD/spacing on the mounting holes as if they aren't PCD100 then they're not going to fit. Ask the offset too just to be sure.

    They will be easy enough for a home refurb, there isnt that much damage ans would look good with a coat of star silver on them.

    they seem to be in pretty good nick, so refurb wont take much to do

    thanks guys as always very helpful advice, i know they do seem a bit too cheap if you know what i mean, not bothered about what type of tyre as long as its got decent tread on, to coat them i am going to need a spray gun right? thats quite hard to come buy really, i have been looking for some alloys for ages, dunno if i am being too picky though, just trying to make sure i get the right ones so i dont need spacers, lookiing for offset between about 38 and 42, think that should be ok.

    Nah rattle can will do them, i did mine in white and a mates set for him you can achieve a good finish its all in the prep work

    MikeMant did his and they were slightly damaged as GaZ20 said its all the the preparation..... For a first attempt he did a fantastic job, cans from Halfords and bingo!!!! Good luck with them!!!!

    If you read my diary i have shown how i have refurb'd them. Shouldn't take much to get them up to scratch mate
