    New prob with zafira heater

    hi all

my zafira has started making an awful clicking sound whenever the heater selector switch is moved of very cold.
The blowers still work. switching on air con and/or air recirc makes no difference. return selector switch to very cold and clicking noise stops.

my hubby has removed the panels in footwells to take a look, the noise seems to be coming from a panel behind the center console near the clutch pedal.
He tells me he can place his hand on the housing there and feel the vibrations of whatever is clicking.

Anyone know what thie prob may be

well, dropped the car in to a local auto-electricains who have done a check up for me.

they tell me the heater main housing unit is behind there which is at fault.
however to remove the faulty unit they will have to strip a lot away and drain the air con system.

they have quoted 9-10 hours labour to strip and replace, but are unable to quote on parts until the unit is out and they look to see what is wrong with it.

has anybody else had this prob
