    smoke

    i have a 1.7td mk4 and wen i rev it , it smokes i was just wondering if anyone can help me ?? and the engine managment light is on ? cheers

    Take it to a garage. They can plug it in (my local garage doesnt even charge me) and see what fault is on the ECU. Sooner rather than later.
    Second is just first loser.

    What sort of 'smoke'? Most diesels will chuck some black soot out when you rev them hard.

    That's not right - sounds like a dud injector or loss of compression. Whitey blue is normally unburnt fuel.
