    Turbo pipes/seals

    Hi,

I have an oil leak from a pipe going into the bottom of my turbo. Standard turbo.
Someone I know says there are seals on the oil pipes, but Vauxhall weren't sure.

Soooo, I need to know 100% what to buy - are there seals/gaskets on these turbo oil pipes? I need the ones going into the turbo (providing refitting doesnt need any others!)

    thanks in advance

the pipe that usually leaks (RIGHT UP TIGHT TO THRE TURBO) has a gasket that cost about 30p and has torx bolts ,,,, SLIGHTY FLEXIBLE...and att the bottom end has two copper washers ...about 20p from vauxhall...look at your pipes and see whats leaking then go vauxhall give them your reg and ask to look at pic of turbo feed and return pipes...on there computer screen,,, point out where your leak is and you will see what you need..

no pics of the oil leak, but if you raise the front of the car and stick your head under so you can see the bottom pipe going into the turbo it is unmissable.

Even after I replaced the 2 copper washers and gasket mine still leaked. I had to replace the pipe too as it must have had a hairline crack in it. The pipes now modified too
