    Cone air filter

    Hi i was wondering if any knows if i fit a K&N cone filter *(or similar) will it fit (the bonnet not close) in an astra g 1.6 2002 (comfort). If it will not fit do u know how it will fit?

    hmm are you talking bout a Universal cone filter? I would have thought they would fit tbh. Obviously if you buy one thats meants for the car then it will fit for sure.

    i will look for one for the same car but maybe a universal one would be easier to find and cheaper

    It'll fit...will it add noise? Probably. Will it release any power? Depends, they often suffer from major heatsoak, better off with a Vectra C intake pipe and personal preference on whether de-restricting the airbox is beneficial or not.

    Well it does as it's larger and has no restrictions like the standard astra ones therefore it gets more air in. And as for the K&N they sound ok but i wouldn't recomend them unless you only drive on motorways.
