Lmao, Repost Help Needed In Regards To Coupe Turbo

Ok seriously, i have a serious problem and dont know the turbo engine much. When engine is started and there is no wind, u can see the oily smoke rising from engine, the left hand side of the engine there is oil all over engine, not to far from turbo itself, when the engine is warmed up, smoke comes from the engine, "which im guessing is the oil burning". Its not blue smoke and its not steam, im confident its oil. but were is it coming from? why is it doing it? is it best not to drive car?

I have been told its possible that it could be, Oil return pipe, oil in take pipe, or oil breather pipe, also oil burning smell comes into cockpit, has anybody else had a problem like this and if so, what was it and how much did it cost? i just bought car, should i return it?

I'm in southhampton, is there anybody near by who can have a look over it for me? cheers......

cud be right, i looked under car, its dripping down zorst and onto front cat then on to floor, its all around my sump, sorry about description, im takin it to a turbo specalist over hedge end 2moro, if i tel him the faults i think it is, it may save me getting ripped off, i no longer think its turbo i think its possibly wa u guys say. is a fair bit of oil leaking mind, i had it serviced from dealers 200 miles ago and they didnt mention anythiing, the top of the engine is looking fine its further down, is there such thing as a sump seal? thats full of oil around it to, but it cud of just dripped down.

rocker cover price of job any 1 know?

Rocker cover gasket isn't that hard to do, if your handy with some spanners it shouldn't take that long, but if you do want to take it to a garage it'd cost about £40-70 depending on where and who. Its about an hours work and the parts aren't that expensive.

Yeah the cam cover gaskets seem to leak. The sump has at least 1 gasket, possibly 2 so this can leak too. Then you have the oil pipes to the turbo, so you really need it on a lift and running so you can see where the leak is coming from.
