I've been thinking of doing the same and the one that looks the best (though pricey) is the boomerang http://www.astraarmrest.com/ it's designed for the USA astra and doesn't require holes being drilled. I've seen a few others on ebay but not too sure on them. If you decide or get any other reccomendations I'd be interested on your views,

    Good luck

I'm thinking about getting one, as I miss the arm rest I had in the Vectra.

Go for the boomerang! It costs more but looks OEM and is great quality.

the one i got armster fits into the rear cubby hole and is held by 4 small screws, once fitted you cant see the screws and the lift up storage holds a tom tom and charger and assorted sweets,it is also hight adjustable by about 1.5 inches and the finish goes all right in my design(i got the black one).
if i wanted to be right all the time i would change my title to mrs ledster
