    caliper paint

    hello

    what paint should i use i want my calipers blue as i have an ardan blue GSI. i used hammerite red on my old car. i dont really want to take off the caliper i just want to paint them do hammerite do a blue that is close to ardan blue? sorry bit of a silly question

    Not exactly but just the right amount of white as a base and light coats of a light blue will get you close. Hammerite hehe me and a mate painted the calipers of his wicked red saxo VTR HAMMERITE YELLOW! it looked good actualy. But for a full on pro finish get your car down to a bodyshop and they will use proper caliper paint and will be able to get something much much closer than hammerite. hope this helped.

    I think you can get a hammerite paint that is close to the GSI colour as I had it on my Nova, your best bet is to check Halfords as they tend to have a good range of colours.

    Not much of a choice online:

    KJ well done on the reserch! i have only seen about 5 colours of Hammerite. Do they do a deep red?

    hello mate was it smooth blue thats the closest i can find?

    Get the smooth blue and some white hammerite and triple coat the caliper white then light spary the caliper blue and do that until you are happy with the colour.

    Yes, I had a smooth deep red on the calipers of my old Mk3 Astra cabrio. Looked nice too.

    thanks mate i cant find smooth deep blue only smooth blue. im get smooth blue and give that a bash i think. thanks for all your help people.
