    van lowering springs cant find any decent drops help

    hi can sum one tell me where to get 40mm all round springs for 52 plate 1.7dti mk4 van of tell what drops are avaliable? also what is the ride like when lowered and also can the wishbones and steering rack take it well any help would be great

    http://www.potn.co.uk/, got mine from here think they were around £110.00 delivered, 40mm drop on standard legs should not be a problem any lower and you will be better with coil overs on the front, no poblem with the handling etc on a 40mm drop but if you fit them yourself get the steering checked aftrwards.

    certainly improved the looks and handling on my 04 van.

    raceland coilovers £150 on ebay for a cheap adjustable height.

    will do about -50mm rear and -60mm front, and you don't get the bottoming out issues on the front you do with -60mm standard springs.

    leave the adjusters out the back you are looking 70mm and take helper springs out the front you can go to about 120mm
