    What gearbox Oil ?

Checked my oil today in my gearbox and it's a bit under min .
Went to halfords and euro parts but nobody got the right oil.
Vauxhall is already closed and I like to top it up asap but just don't know where or what oil to take.
    Ups sorry it's a 2005 1,8 with auto gearbox.
Euro parts said that vauxhall got a special oil for it that nobody else will stock, my handbook only says to go to vauxhall .
There must be something else on the market out there.
    Anybody ???

don't you hate it when someone like eoru parts gives you duff info, your gearbox runs on vauxhall spec DEXRON III, which is available as Castrol TQ DIII or FUCHS ATF4000 for example. As long as you get something matching DEXRON III you will be fine mate.
