Adult Content Air Con not working

Hi all, I have been enjoying the lovely weather but my air con don't seem to be working?? The light on the button comes on and when switched on i cannot see the air con clutch spinning with the pulley??

Could it be because the pressure may be too low?
    A possible leak?
    Electrical/Mechanical fault?

If anyone could help me that would be great thanks

Its most probably the gas is to low it happend on my car, the aircon pressure switch stops the pump from working when the gas it to low. Best thing to do is get it regassed first as the machine will also see if the system has a leak.

Yeah I had the same problem on mine recently.
I would advise going to an air con specialist (one who does the full business) rather than a firm that can only re-gas and not do other checks.

A specialist will re-gas, then check for leaks, then (if there is a leak) will advise on what parts may need replacing. Then the good news is, if you get the work done with them you won't have to pay for another re-gas after fitment.

On the other hand, a simple re-gas firm may re-gas your system. You may experience cool air for a day or so. Then when the gas has leaked out (if you have a leak) they will probably not refund your initial 'wasted' re-gas fee.

My front condensor had a leak in it so I had that replaced. It is a common fault as stones etc. tend to fly on to it and create cracks.

Just had a new condenser fitted to my 1.9cdti this morning. Nice and cold now.

May be worth taking a trip to vauxhall, they only wanted £60 for a regas before telling me the condenser was bugered, luckily Im still in warrenty.
