    aircon fault

    hi all.. help... lol..
in the middle of fitting fmic and uprated pipework to my turbo coupe...
when doing the intercooler, was given a slimline fan to replace the old standard one.
all fitted up, after so long the fan cuts in, once, brings aircon light on, 'on dash' and wont kick in again unless switch off car and restart it, and just does the same.
    any ideas?
*have sent mail to people i got the kit from, see if the have any ideas.

tried the old standard fan onto the battery charger ive got, used it to check and see what way i had to wire up the new fan (suck/blow), and the the standard fan worked for all of 2sec and just stopped working..hmmm.
when it was on the car, i will be honest.. i dont know if it did work, but i didnt have the light on.

    cheers

It may just be a coincidence.

The air con system maybe low on gas.

Get it refilled at Kwik fit as if it makes no difference they don't charge for anything, if it does then work it will cost you £45.

air con is working... when car is driving its all ok.. its when slowed down/stopped, when the fans kick in, thats when it trips the light.

reconnected the std fan tonight, all ok. but need the slimline one for it all to work with the new fmic..
