    Gear Gaiter - Please HELP!!!!

    Hi guys - I need to fit a replacement gear gaiter but how do I get the gear knob off - hear its a nightmare and could really use some help!!

    You don't need to remove the gear knob. Just cut the cable tie inside the old gaiter and it will become loose enough to just lift straight over the knob.

    What about fitting the new one....?? Will that not be any trouble - or is that obviously dependant on the size of the gap at the top of the leather. And if the gap on the new gaiter isnt big enough is there any way round the prob??

    On the new one the cable tie will be loose. So you would fit the new gaiter into position, and then tighten the cable tie to hold it in place
