    VXR Turbo Fitting

Wright this morning started fitting my VXR turbo but am currently having problems can someone explain how to get the pre-cat out the way.
I've removed it from the turbo but cant get it to drop out the way, do you have to have the exhaust modified to fit a decat pipe as I cant seem to see how it will fit.
And also while removing the x-over pipe found the oil breather pipe is U/S do I replace it with a silicon one or what happens to it if I fit a 1.9 cdti airbox Cheers any help thanks

dude, if you got a coupe, then you probably have the all in one cat system. if you fitting a precat, you need to get another cat from gsi or a sports cat. or you can see if a garage can modify it.

Wright thought I was cracking up didn't realize there was a difference between the hatch and coupe system apart from being longer. Cheers
So does that mean I'll have to work around it to fit turbo

Why do you want to remove it completely? I just let mine hang to oneside...didn't get in the way at all??

I'd recommend removing the front bumper, intercooler, battery tray and rad fan though...gives more space to work in.

I'll bet you a tenner you just need to unplug the lambda sensor,

it's on the right hand side of the rocker cover follow the wires up from the sensor on the precat

Yeah good shout. Although if he is following the ZLet guide he would have already done that...

Ye am using the ZLet guide turbo off but need some new studs from Vaux 2moro. Also had a clip stick on the side bumper screw had to cut of screw head off anyway but lets me fit new mesh in the bumper as the other one is hanging out.
