    Who else DJ's?

As above. Also, what's your setup?
I'm considering getting a KAOS 3 pad with my setup! Anyone here have one?
    My setup is a 2x CDJ MKII 800's w/ DJM400 soon to be 700.

Mk3 1210's, stanton cartridges - were mine after some one owed me a lot of money , sat in the lost for 18 months, did not pay.... sold them for him...

The cd mixing is a little easy... me thinks...

I got rid of mine years ago, mine was Denon CD & MD decks. I used to have a KAOS pad and then got the Numark mixer with one built in.

Good fun and great effects, it certainly makes you aware how much they are used in some dance music production.

whats the best setup for someone with loads of CD's (1200ish) although a majority are on the PC who wants to mix as a hobby at home? I would also want a Kaos 3 pad as well.

Any ideas on software, best set up etc would be great

    I am thinking:

    decent software
    1 x CD deck
Kaos pad - wasnt aware you can get them built into mixers?
    If not above a mixer
    PC for the other input.

Thoughts on the above and what makes etc?

What club do you work in MARKTAYLOR?

    Matt,

To be honest I'd get two CD decks, plus your PC if you want, 3 source mixer.

You can get a decent midi controller for pretty much any decent DJ software now (I rate mix vibes, although Cross doesn't work with Hercules yet....)
