    AG Paint Renovator

    Hi all

After washing and waxing my car (europa blue SE2) i'm left with fine scratches/swirls along the sides.

Was thinking of lightly t-cutting after a wash, then i spotted AG paint Renovator - anyone used it/recomend it? Cant afford to buy a machine polisher.

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hi Steveb,

I love the SE2. I had one myself a few years back - it was great!!

I'm no expert - but anyway - AG Paint Renovator! I did my brother-in-laws red Zafira by hand last weekend. It had faded to pinkish and it needed some work. After washing etc we used the AG Paint Renovator to take back the finish to restore the colour. I thought it was pretty agreessive in cutting back the paint. It worked really quickly and was easy to polish off. Obviously the amount of pressure you apply by hand dictates the amount of cutting effect you'll get. I would suggest that - if you do try it - use only light pressure to begin with and see how it goes. One thing is for sure it definately does what it says on the tin.

We finished the Zafira with AG SRP, followed by a coat of wax - it looked great when finished. Have you tried just the AG SRP on it's own? I know from reading other threads that its got lots of fillers stuff in it to fill swirls etc, so that may be worth a try first.

    Like I say - I'm no expert!!!

Let us know how you get on.
    John P.

    Cheers

Was going to buy the whole range AG shampoo, AG paint renovator and AG SRP.

Used the blue t-cut colour restorer (think its by turtle wax but it didn't do anything to the swirls. Thats why i was thinking the paint renovator.

What kind of wax is best after using SRP?

I find using Zaino Z-PC reduces swirls dramatically.
