    Astra MK4 Wheel Stud Pattern

    Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me what stud paatern the Astra MK4's come with?

From what i can see they come in both 4 stud and 5 stud but does anyone know whether this is related to specific model or specific years?

    Thanks,
    Jim

    4 X 100 fella and 5 x 110
All sri's, Gsi, and coupe came with 5 stud as well as some sports mainly 1.8's.

    hope this helps.
life's to short to give a damn.

    yep 4 x 100 or 5 x 110 on all mk4's
Observe the masses and do the opposite

    1.4/1.6 ABS & non-ABS = 4 stud
    1.8 non-ABS = 4 stud
    1.8 ABS = 5 stud
    2.0/2.0T/2.2 = 5 stud

Petrol Models only - Dervs are similar to above pattern

Yep thats what i meant which types, so all sri, gsi & coupe wud have the 5 stud regardless of year right.

Hmm ok makes sense, mine is a 1.8 and has 4 stud.

I was just wondering as i am looking to buy a new astra and wanted to know which models wud take my current 4 stud alloys.

ditch the alloys mate - the 4 stud models are crap with their lowly 256mm front brakes

sell the rims and move on - get a 5stud astra - the standard 280mm discs are just so much better to live with and so much easier to upgrade to 308mm turbo spec brakes.

    trust me

Right i see, so GeordieBandit does that mean that the suspension setup is different as well because i got a set of coilys on current astra with the 4 stud and was looking to take this off as well but if i pick up a 5 stud astra then would the susp setup be different?
