I had an accident last night, need your help guys...

okay guys last night, i made the stupid mistake of reversing without checking my mirrors, ended up smashing the back end into a barrier.

a barrier designed to protect a lamp post ....WTF.

but yeah anyways im gonna need a new passenger side brake light, ... so how much are they??? and where do i get one from ???

I heard the brake lights was tinted or something :S

also ive got a dent about 3-4 inches long and 1-2 inches tall just above my brake light, anyone know how much roughly to get this sorted, or how much i SHOULD be getting charged from any decent bodyshop??

accident has really pissed me off, especially since ive had the car 3 days and is 6k's worth. now costing me more money.

Any help really really appreciated, thanks in advance guys.

and to answer your question mate the brake light i would get from a scrap yard although u aint mentioned which car u drive and it sounds like it may be a very new model. if so try the internet and ebay.. price depends on which astra ur driving..

and the body shop im not really sure all i would do is call a few dont just go to one and compare their prices then u kinda know who is charging too little cause there crap and who is charging too mucn

hey guys and i know dumb thing, it wasnt that i didnt look

the bollard was smaller than my rear window, plus it was pitch black, i had lights on, but.... ya know haha.

    boys with their toys eh.

well got some quotes this morning, first guy said "912 quid mate" ... haha **** that, he wanted to charge me £50 for a new badge, cos he said mine would have to be taken off then wouldnt be able to go back on.

got another quote which i accepted of £345, and my mate hooked me up with the tinted brake light i needed from vauxhall themselves for a mere 40 quid, he knows a guy there and got it cheap for me.

and to answer the other question, im driving a 54 plate 1.6 astra sxi twinport with the irmscher kit, gsi front bumper and all that jazz.

my first car and only had it 3 days aswell, just my luck to crash it.

Car goes in on wednesday and have it back on friday. WOOP!
