    manifold has to come off coz of a snapped bolt

    rite my car started blowing and i loss alot of boost becouse of this,it was holdin 12 psi and nw its only holdin 9psi so i removed the 2 heatshilds to find that the gasket had broke and the the bolt head was loose that that was snap inside which was causing so i goat a price 2 remove the manifold and get the snaped bolt out of £90
    so guys buy removing the manifold and turbo etc while doin this would it effect my boost wen put all bk 2gether

    Check to see if you have got a lot of play in your turbo shaft, It will move left to right a little but thats it..If it moves in and out you might have problems its vxr turbo time..
    Vxr turbo with 360 bearing and twin oils seals & Evoms dv. Cdti airbox 63mm tophat.Milltex cat back and pre cat.. Regal 245 leh phase 1 ipf remap.Whiteline rarb.

    i had a snapped bolt on my old gsi and it still held boost fine, as rhys said id be checking for play also
