Question Kei Force 10's / Lenso Reizen and others? Cant decide?

Right alloy time - Im sure your gonna shout 18" and Id like to go large rather than buy 17" and wish Id got the others.

    But:
    • 18" cost alot more
    • Tyres will cost more
    • Will my car be alot slower?
    • What about steering?
    • Ive had 17" and they were uncomfortable on bumps and holes so Im guessing 18 will be worse?
    • My car isnt lowered yet but is the late spec SXI so slightly lower than most as standard.
    Advantages vs disadvantages?????

Ive seen the lots of Kei photos of 18's (popluar wheel) but not in 17". Anyone got piccies?

Also the silver is very bright - would consider the Hyper black but Ive not seen these in the flesh. Is it just a shiny black or more metallic?

Im also considering Lenso Reizen 2 in gunmetal. Pricey, and could I pull off the colour on my Ultra blue MK4? Again not seen in the flesh.

    My car:

I feel the 18's look too big on the MK4 - you'd have to go for super skinny tyres to make them fit under the arches which looks a bit daft imho.

That and the ride would be darn harsh too, those skinny tyres won't be absorbing much vibration from the road surface.

As for speed - unless they're super wide, the 17's or 18's will need a tyre size that puts them around the same diameter as the OEM wheels anyhow, so they're not going to slow you down or speed you up.

I like the 10's over the other wheels, but you're choice really

Im sat on 18" Kei force 10's, my tyres are 215/35/18, there comfortable on all bumps and road surfaces ive been on, full lock is fine no rubbing, and my cars on the SRI suspension set up (20-mm)

I recommend them, as there a fantastic looking alloy.

Kei force 10's are a great wheel. You can get them in 17 size in halfords! If the ride is too harsh you should pop 45 profile tyres on there! I have them on mine and its a nice ride, even with the standard suspension.

I've got 18" force 10's and my car is lowered 50mm all around, I don't have any issues with the ride atall with the wheels on. Also no scrubbing on full lock either...

Hello mate. I'm on 17" Force 10s in Hyperblack. They're beautiful wheels but the car definitely needs to be lowered. I bought these second hand, but if I was buying brand new I would have probably saved up for the 18s. Here's a few pics, not great pics, but you get the idea:
