    help plz my headlights have steamed up

    anyone help my headlights have steamed up i read other threads but i think the how to was removed anyone can help me plz

    its proberly condenstation on the inside, turn your headlights on for 10-15 or so and it'll dry them out

    dont you just have to drill holls in the back/bottom of the light fitting to let some fresh air in

    i had the same problem what i was told to do is take headlamp off dry it out then seal it again!!!!

    i found that this will only be a quick fix! as soon as the temperature is right again, it will re-mist up!

    worked for me though when i traded my old megane in. the passenger side headlight always misted, so whilst it was being washed before i took it for the trade in, i left the lights on to dry it out. worked a treat, and the saleman was none the wiser!
    Astra sold ... replaced with a Skoda ... soon to be replaced with another Vauxhall

    yeah get what your saying, but if you are after a quick fix it quick and easy and you dont have to do anythin other then leave the lights on

    Why drill some MORE holes in them?

    They already have holes in them

    i noticed one of mine steamed up a few months back when i looked i noticed i lost the top rubber bit off the top of the light....some sort of seal still need to get another from the breakers but not got round it to.

    my old 1.8 sport did this on one headlight, was a cracked bulb holder, therefor wasnt sealing correctly, worth a check
