    Model cars

Is there much call for these ?? Upon clearing out the roof I've found one that was given to me by an old Australian colleague. Its like this one on ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-18-RARE-Bian...3A1%7C294%3A50

But its black, got the certificate and the like, but is it worth listing it or selling it or not ?? Seems a shame its just up there, and dont want to bin it tbh

i dont see why no one would be intrested in that.

Ive just been on ebay and bought a few die cast cars upon my searching i managed to find a few Corsa VXR models and all of them had bids on and a few months ago there all the Astra VXR models that i bid on i get out bid by a long way.

    Hope this helps

I'll give it a new home if its just going in the bin!!!!!!

If you think you can get anything for it on ebay...give it a try. If it doesn't sell, you've only lost a few pence for the listing fee....

If its got pistons or tits, its gonna be expensive!!

If you watch the ones on eBay you should get a good idea of how much they end up selling for - put yours on when there are no others and you'll probably get more than if there are a few on at once.

£50 isn't much to a collector if its a rare or limited edition model that they want. Stuff like that can go for silly money.

You will be supprised what a market there is out for these things.

A guy i work with collects Corgi, matchbox, dinki cars etc.

He showed me a few that hes bought for pence then showed me the same car in a collectors book and my mouth hit the floor when i read how much these cars sell for at auction.

I have now started to purchase a few

I also collect dragsters and funny cars, Most of these have not been in production for over 10 years and longer.

A few months back a battled out an auction on ebay for a 1/16th scale plastic kit that my dad had in the 70s when he was a kid, I paid around £40 for it and that was cheap compared to what they can and do go for
