    help precat deact problem(vxr)

    put the pre cat decat pipe on today (astra vxr) thts the only mod i have done and the car feels much slower when its on boost, i don think its blowing but what could it be?

    is it sealed properly? have you disturbed something when fitting it (altho you shouldnt need to) bcs plugged in?

    No way on earth if its fitted right will it feel slower.

    Either not sealed, or you've distrubed something else

    any warning lights? do you even have a boost gauge?

    no boost guage, BCS?? wheres tht? i used the old clamp was a nightmare to get on(was connected to the exhaust and didn sit square but got it on with the help of 2 friends,) but when on idle puttin ur hand near the clamp u cant feel it blowing,

    boost control solenoid is on the turbo, altho u would have a light on the dash if it wasnt work, just check the plug and hoses

    totally misred what you said m8, yeh its plugged in, it jus doesn feel as strong, i put a new turbo on few weeks ago also everything looks ok, but could there be a slight leak and i cant feel it or that?

    if there was any leak atall im sure you would hear it let alone feel it

    true must just be me imaging it then just doesn feel as strong on boost now very weird
