...Just thought that I would share my weekend at the British GP with you all,
I haven’t had time since we got back on Monday.
So the day started off early and we left home at 5:45am heading towards Milton Keynes.
Just before 8am we arrived at this very nice hotel
On arrival into the hotel we had Champagne and bacon rolls followed by a safety briefing before the flight.
Our Helicopter coming into land at the Hotel.
The traffic in the air was horrendous
But not as bad as the A43.
Silverstone from the air.
The Helicopter safely landed at the circuit.
Then driven to the hospitality suite where breakfast was served and we could watch some of the GP2 action.
Then after lunch watched the awesome red arrows show.
Followed by the race itself.
Then after some more food and beer watched the classic car race.
Then the Euro Fighter Typhoon air display just before heading back to the Hotel via helicopter. The sound of this plane was awesome and the speed at which it moved across the sky was phenomenal.
And on the way into the hotel I managed to get a picture of my car from the air in the hotel car park.
All in all it was an awesome day. The helicopter ride was great, very smooth landing and take off. Certainly beat the traffic. The food was absolutely awesome, the track action was superb and the noise and shear speed of the F1 cars was staggering. food, beer and champange on tap all day
Any the very best bit.....it was all free
