    Whining Through Stereo??

    Hya Guys
    When my engine is on i get a whining noise through my stereo.I knw its the wiring but which wires could be causing the problem?

    IMO all of them except the speakers

    Start be checking your earth then try running a seperate set of RCA's outside the car to see if they pick up interference then

    As Autosparks says above. Are you running standard gear or are some speakers amped. If the latter be carefull that any live wires are running by your rca's as they will pick interferance up that way.

    Lots of things it could be...for me it was down to using a cheap-ass RCA lead, once I replaced it with a decent shielded one the interference went
