    new HU questions

After a long hard think and alot of searching on ebay i decided not to go for the JVC KD-AVX11, but instead i bought a SONY CDX-M9900 because it looked like a decent deal, got it for around £90 not sure what they are brand new anyway a couple of questions because it should be here tomorrow.

    1. it's not going to work with my standard cd changer in the car so should i just take that out?

    2. i currently have steering controls will it work with them and what do i need to buy ?

    3. I think a green wire needs to go to the handbrake to turn off video when moving, could i put that wire to the light in the glove box ?

    4. hoping to try wire it myself im asuming it shouldn't be too hard? as i only have standard speakers etc

    http://www.sony.co.uk/product/ica-cd-tuners/cdx-m9900

    thanks

    1. Only take it out if your going to get a new glovebox back IMO, it's what I did so I have storage in my coupe

    2. Yes it will but you need a Connects2 CTSVX001 and connects2 sony patch lead

    3. Yes it needs to go to the handbrake for that reason. If your going to put it anywhere else connect it to the black wire on the radios wiring

    4. Easy mate
