Brake pad warning light on turbo help???

Few weeks ago the brake pad warning light came on the mfd on my coupe turbo.Had the wheels off last weekend and one of my front sensors had fell apart. So ordered one from vauxhall and have it now ready to fit.
Before i fit it will the warning light go straight out or do i need to reset anything??
    cheers adam

How much were your sensors Dave? I could do with a new one for mine as the casing broke away when changing the pads and discs
