Take the brake light bulb out and put it in the right way

Did you get the bulms from Halfords using there little guide book? If so, it's the wrong bulbs as the ones they list are only single filiment. I brought it up with the manager of my local Halfords and he put stickers in the book saying the right bulb. The book says 380 or 382 for the bulb, but that's only the single filiment one. The other bulb (can't remember which one is which from the numbers) is the double filiment one and that will solve your problem.

Also, do your front side lights come on when you brake? That's what happened to mine.

    Or are they LED bulbs?
That would also cause this problem

Brake light and fog light bulbs are all 21 watt

Chances are there is a broken filiment inside one of the rear bulbs causing this problem
