    Which 888

I have been hunting for a decent mk4 888 for sometime now and to my shock 2 absolute amazing 888s have been put up for sale on here..
one being scottyboys 888 (http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/sh...d.php?t=202044) and the other being astra 888(http://www.astraownersclub.com/vb/sh...d.php?t=202969) both with similar milegae on as scottyboys has had a brand new upgraded leh engine fitted.
Now the reason i am posting this is because i want to no peoples thoughts and reasons to which car i should go for... i hope i dont offend both members and i apologise in advance but i am after peoples thoughts on them... and which one they would go for... Thanks

Both lovely cars, wish i had the money for something like that!!! Lol.

My choice would be the lesser modded one though. I think taking someone elses work is well... a more sensible option but it would never feel like my own car if that makes sense. You go to a show or a meet and no ones like "oh thats your car fair play" its "Thats so n so's old car"

Defeats the object in my little opinion.

but depends what you want to spend on it and what you want i guess

Two very different cars, one being highly modded and the other almost standard.

As the price is the same though, i'd go for Scottyboys. POWER POWER POWER!

Scottyboys has covered 54k miles and astra888 5.4k miles.
i think you read wrong there.
its those lambo doors that would put me off.
EDIT:sorry i read your post wrong. your saying that the engine in scootyboys has covered around 5k miles.

Its have a brand new engine fitted, so chassis has done 54k, but engine has only done around 5k.

i guess it depends on if you want standard or modded....problem with modded is that its modded to someone elses tastes, thats not to say scotty hasnt got very good taste tho....
depends what you like really, personally i would go for a standard or very lightly modded low miler and keep it standard as poss

Tough choice, Scott's is a brilliant car and worth the money, not a price I'd pay for any standard T8 (any milage). The mods make it a very different car to own, care for and to drive. Having said that it's the one I'd choose though.
Tell me what you've done, not what you're going to!
