    cost of lowering astra mk5

What have you paid in terms of labour costs only to have a mk 5 lowered?? Thinking of getting it done, but before asking my local garage the question, I thought I would get some feedback from owners who have had it done.
cheers all. (I will supply my own springs by the way)

2 bolts on the front hub, 1 on the anti roll bar. remove the top mount clips and the strut falls out.

then its a 18mm nut on the top of the strut but needs to be held in place by a E50 torx to undo it.

Rear is just 1 torx bolt but u can use a 16mm multi point socket (IIRC), then u need to push the axle down with ur foot and pull the spring out.

refit is the reversal of it.

    spring clamps are needed tho.

took me about 4hrs to do on my own, including fag and lunch breaks (and stopping every 5mins coz im sneezing / sniffling due to hayfever)
