alpine headunit finally in the astra!!!!

well had this headunit for some years in the previous corsa, anyway managed to finally get it in the astra

i knew there would be some complication regarding the steering controls. I know you can get adapter leads but not really sure which ones to get for my model.

looked on this site http://www.incarexpress.co.uk for help.

not really sure which leads to get, they have ones for standard alpine fitment but reading another thread i saw leads for specific models can anyone shine any light on this matter,

any help would be much appreciated thanx

    its a Alpine CDE 9848RB

As long as your alping headunit has the option to link it to steering wheel contols you'll need the CTSVX001 from connects2 and the alpine patch lead they do

Havnt been able to find out much but on this site it says you can use remote control, is this like a extra remote you can buy or does this mean you can link it to steering controls????

How did you get the time to stay on your display at the top? I keep reading stuff about snipping a red / white wire, but nothing concrete.

    Welcome mate

The time always stays there but if you look closer the date goes. Cutting the red/white wire at the display will cure this
