hello guys, im trying to find the opel astra g 1,7 CDTI engine diagram to get the diameter of the screw that goes in the oil filter
can anyone send it by email to : firstname.lastname@example.org
or leave a message here
do you mean the actual oil filter housing
yes , the screw that goes in the middle of the oil filter and has a hole in it, kinda like a pipe and the filter gets screwed to it
sure its a 32mm. I just use a socket on it.
I just stumbled onto this webpage which suggests that for part number 90510935 the dimensions are M18x1.5
however I had to guess that your engine is a Y17DT which gave that part number for the filter. Do you know what engine you have? "CDTi" doesn't help
woops I think I punched in X17DTL. Anyway, maybe you can find your info on that site or you can provide the engine code...
Strange - that website says both Y17DT and Z17DTL are CDTi engines - but neither appear to use a standard sort of filter like the one you show in your image - only the X17DTL does. That website indicates that the CDTi's use a filter element plus casing.
Sorry I guess I wasn't any help.... my car's just an old MK3 with the X17DTL so I'll just shut up now...
