Thumbs Up A massive THANKS to G_MAN

So as a few of you know I ripped out my ABS sensor at PVS due to the wire getting caught somehow (wish I'd have cable tied it up ) and who comes to the rescue with a practically brand new hub........ G_man of course

So grateful to you bud, you've saved me best part of £150 for a new one and I got it in 2 days (he even posted it out to me free of charge too!!!) what service!!

You really are one in a million buddy there's not a single tuner or anyone I can think of that would be so genuine and generous!!

Once again you've exceeded my expectations by far - keep up the good work!!

How easy was it to change?

Need to do one on Lauras Astra over the weekend.

Easy if you have the tools buddy..

    Wheel off
Unclip brake pipe and wiring off the bracket that's attached to the shocker.
Remove brake disc and cailper, (5mm Allen key on disc, 2x 18mm bolts on caliper)
Undo centre nut on hub (32mm IIRC and you'll need a breaker bar) put it in gear to do this, do not attempt to use the brake as your caliper is off lmao
Undo 2 bolts off bottom of shocker (18mm) and move the whole hub outwards freeing the driveshaft, drop driveshaft to one side
Undo 3 hex bolts (TX20) on back of hub and remember which way the thin guarding goes on
Remove hub and refit new one on really tightening the 3 torx bolts up tight
Grease it well inside the hub and clean the driveshaft splines off
Refit driveshaft in with plenty of grease, put 2 bolts back in the shocker to hold the hub all in place so you can then tighten centre bolt back up, put some grease on it when refitting to help it along, you'll nee a breaker bar / extension on the end of you rachet handle to get it really really tight, also don't forget the brake pipe bracket
Refit brake disc, caliper and wheel making sure you plug / clip everything back in on the way

    Job's a good un'

    Sounds easy enough,

Could do with fitting new brakes and front shocks so might do that at the same time.

    Thanks
