I just got my car serviced...

I just got my car serviced the other day.

I noticed befor the service, i had a pull on the steering wheel. So i thought it needed a whell alignment... now the pull is still there and i believe its there for saftey so if you fall asleep the car drives to the side of the road or something?

so i got my car back and the pull is still there... should i ask for a report of the wheel alignment? being a nobb n all i dont know if i just got ripped off?

    Thanks for any help!
    Cheers

it shouldn't pull in anyway (unless the road surface is uneven) get it checked out, its probably your tracking thats out.

    tracking?? tyre tracking??

shouldnt they have picked that up when they did the service?
The only reason i got the alignment was because of the pull so what i lost $60 cause of it?

From what I have been told your car will always pull ever so slightly towards the footpath due to the camber of the road for drainage etc.

All roads have a camber (to keep cars away from each other and to help keep rain off the surface).

All camber varies though, so driving on a number of different roads will soo show if its always pulling, or just a road with excessive camber.

Check local places for laser alignment and try that....
Is your steering wheel straight ? (does badge sit normal in a straight line)
That can indicate it being out also.

Can you feel the car trying to pull to one side when you're actually holding the wheel or is it only when you let go of the steering wheel?

Tracking is not normally something tested on a service IIRC
