Irmscher back box + Remus centre section

Looking to get these... How are these connected? I'd buy the back box second hand off ebay or off here. But would buy the centre section new from LMF as they're only about £80. What else would i need except the the back box and centre section themselves?

Is it easy to fit? And is there a how-to anywhere?

    Any other info/advice?

    Thanks
    Sam

Look out for cheaper race tubes. I paid £30 for my remus one. What you have to remember is that they are only a pipe. No silencer or anyhing so £80 for it is a lot of money. I believe they are usually flange fitment but some are sleeve. Make sure you get the correct ones! They fit easily, just like your normal exhaust.

The fitments are flange fitments secured by 2 bolts.
The remus race tube is just a circular peice of tube 2.25" in diameter, so any will do off ebay for about £30.

What you'll need is a gasket and if your car is currently a sleeve type of exhaust pipe IE one pipe fits over the other at the backbox end then you'll need the bolts, springs and nuts to go with it.

Take a look at my diary as I've done this conversion from standard to GT3 stainless steel centre section and Irmscher backbox and converted from sleeve type fitment to flange type fitment. Also theres a picture of the bolts and gasket you'll need from Vauxhall.

I'd recommend some gumgum paste to secure all the connections to make a tight seal.
