Going on a Ferry with a Coupe Turbo Splitter

For my Coupe i have sourced a turbo front splitter which i'm getting sprayed soon, the question is i'm going to France on a ferry in a couple of months, so do i fit it now or wait till i come back? as i don't want to rip it off getting on or off the ferry as there isn't much ground clearance. I'm i worrying over nothing and btw the coupe hasn't been lowered.

Has anyone and good or bad experiences they can share

    Two options.

1, just drive on carefully, it will clear.

    or what i did.
2, Ask the guys who load the ferry if you can stay on the bottom level due to low ground clearance. It's never normally a problem.

If you do mean the standard turbo rubber splitter, I think its unlikely that it will catch. Even if it does, its made of a rubbery plastic anyway so shouldnt be damaged.
