    Pioneer Stereo

    Hi Guys
ive just fitted a poineer head unit into my 2000 w reg Astra estate , works fine , but not holding the memories ?
fine you might say , join the yellow wire to the red (permanant live) on the car side . Done this and the warning alarm that says key is in ignition sounds whenever the door is opened , and also the central locking fails to work , put the wires back as standard and everything is fine ,
is my only option to take a wire direct from the battery and have to mess about getting it into the car .
    regards
    Gez

    Welcome Gez

Just swap the red and yellow wires around with the bullet connectors and all will be fine
