    any mechanic know why

    when im doing over 70mph on the motorways sometimes the engine management light comes on then sometimes goes off. i turn the car off and on again and it goes away. its strange why this is happenin and i havent found anything wrong with the car.

    Mine used to do this and it turned out to be the EGR value, have search and look for the paperclip test and it will be able to tell you what your problem is

    just check your fault codes m8 using paperclip or pedal test the car will tell you whats wrong

    I had this same problem along the motorway (m6) and the engine just cut out gulp.
    Turned out to be due to no oil and the engine management recognised it.....little spanner picture ........then no power.
    Fill with oil and run for a bit m8.
    Sorted my prob out.
