    Exhaust wont fit

Bought an omp exhaust for my astra estate mk4 x reg 1.6 16v.

But it will not fit and the seller is stating it should fit straight to the centre pipe.
The bit that come out of the back of the backbox and fits into the centre pipe is about 6 inches too short. The garage i took it to showed me when they tried to put it on.
    Iam now well confused.

    Here is the item description:-
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

    Here is the catalogue.
It is under inox sport exhausts qx049

Please can someone help me as i am at a loss here in mind and in pocket....i got it when it was on auction for £105

    cheers guys

    darren

is it sleeve or flange fitting ?

if its sleeve just get the old back box, chop off the difference, weld that to the middle section then just fit back box as you planned ?

bit back yard but could do the job

Well that descrption would be right as the backbox you have bought is for a SALOON only ,
In which way is it to short to fit your estate ?
Is it from the box to the flange the bent bit of the pipe , OR
The 2 tailpipes that are to short

    Curly flange pipe.
I have sent them an email stating that i noticed they have changed/edited the item description to read SALOON only 15 mins after i told them it was not correct part.
Am awaiting a reply regarding refund etc

    fingers crossed.
