    Which turbo do i need.

    Hi all,

I am new to the site and would like some help. I have an astra twin top 2.0 turbo on a 54 plate and my turbo has just blown. I am trying to buy a new one but being a novice I am not sure which one to purchase.

I have looked on this site http://www.turbocharger-solutions.co.uk/catalogue and it is telling me that the engine number is Z20LET and the part number for the turbo is 5304-970-0024. Can anyone let me know if this is correct or not. I am looking to purchase a recon one off e-bay and dont want to get the wrong part. I am looking at this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/vauxhall-astra...3A1%7C294%3A50

    Thanks in advance.

you would be better to get hold of a VXR turbo as there a stronger unit....

the one pictured is a standard ZLET turbo not VXR
    No longer GSi power
Dirty Derv Decked Vec is the way forward for me!

i was sure it was a z20ler but checked by googleing it, but the turbo is the same anyway have you considered getting yours fixed? send it to turbo technics get new bearings and double seals put in better than any vxr unit and probably cheaper

if your unsure do a search on here and alot of people are going to be doing this this year
